- To be able to obtain, at any time (via the Internet) from the serial number of the motorcycle, the list of applicable recalls and technical actions and, for each recall and technical action carried out, the date of execution and the name of the dealership that ensured its execution.
- To be able to obtain from the dealership, on presentation of the proof of ownership of the motorcycle, a paper printout of the history of the revisions and repairs that have been carried out since it was first put into circulation.
These two innovations will bring unparalleled quality of service to your customers as well as a definite advantage in terms of trust and transparency in the follow-up of their motorcycle, which will also be a definite advantage during its resale. This will be an opportunity for BMW Motorrad to raise the bar of confidence very high and the opportunity to stand out even further from the competition. There is no doubt that these two innovations will have a strong impact in terms of image in the motorcycle world.
We also want to benefit from the same recall system as the brand's cars, such as the 1 series for the control of the electric adjustment of the front seat backs: we are still waiting for reminders for organs that are too often defective (comodos, ABS module, water pump, fuel gauge, etc.).
